Score every house tour the same way, then compare.
A weighted scorecard for buyers and renters. Set what matters to you once, rate each home 1 to 5 after the visit, and see them side by side. No account; your notes stay in this browser.
Compare up to 20 homes. Weigh each criterion from 0 to 5. Anything you did not check is left out, never counted as zero.

How to use TourLedger
- Set your priorities before the first tour. Rename or remove the starter criteria, then give each one an importance from 0 (does not matter) to 5 (essential). Add must-haves such as “Dog allowed”: these are pass or fail, not scored.
- Add each home with a nickname. “Blue door on Elm” is easier to remember than an address, and you can leave the address out entirely.
- Score right after you leave. Give each criterion 1 to 5. If you did not look at something, leave it as “Not checked” instead of guessing. Write what you liked and what worried you in the notes.
- Compare. The comparison table puts homes side by side, marks the best score in each row, and lists homes that failed a must-have at the bottom.
- Keep a copy. Download a backup file, print the comparison, or create a read-only link for a partner.
How the score is calculated
For each home, TourLedger multiplies every checked score by its importance, adds those up, and divides by the total importance of the criteria you checked. The result is a weighted average on the same 1 to 5 scale you used.
score = Σ (score × importance) ÷ Σ importance of checked criteria
Criteria with importance 0 never change the result. Criteria marked “Not checked” are left out, and the “checked” figure next to each score shows what share of your total importance was covered. Must-haves are kept separate: a home that fails one stays in the table but is listed after the others, with the failed item named.
Homes where every criterion that counts has a score are listed first. Homes with items still “Not checked” are listed in a separate group, so a home rated on one or two things cannot sit above a home you checked fully.

Questions
Do I need an account?
No. TourLedger runs in your browser. There is no sign-up, and what you type is not sent to our server. It is saved in this browser’s local storage on this device.
How many homes can I compare?
Up to 20 homes at once, each scored on up to 30 criteria you choose, with up to 15 must-haves. That limit keeps the comparison table readable and share links short.
What happens to criteria I did not check?
They are left out of the score instead of counting as zero. Each home shows how much of your weighted list you actually checked, so a high score from three checked items is easy to spot.
Is the score a home inspection or a price opinion?
No. It is a record of your own impressions, weighted by what matters to you. It cannot tell you whether a building is safe, sound or fairly priced. Use a licensed home inspector for the condition of the home.
Can I use it on my phone during a showing?
Yes. The page works on small screens, and every score is a large tap target. Nothing is uploaded, so it also works on a slow connection once the page has loaded.
What if I clear my browser data?
Your ledger is deleted with it. Download a backup file from “Save & share” after each tour day, and restore it on any device with “Restore from backup”.
Who can see a share link?
Anyone who has the link. The link carries a copy of the selected homes inside it; it is not encrypted, and it cannot be switched off later. Notes and addresses are left out unless you include them.
